The Oct. 11 Wisconsin-Iowa game will kick off at 6 p.m. and air on FS1, the Big Ten announced Sept. 29.
It will be the Badgers’ second night game of the year, with the other being UW’s Week 1 game against Miami (Ohio). It follows three consecutive games in the early time slot.
Iowa has a bye week before its trip to Madison. The Hawkeyes are 3-2, with both losses coming to ranked teams — then-No. 18 Iowa State and then-No. 12 Indiana. Both losses were by one possession. Wisconsin is 2-2, with a trip to No. 20 Michigan looming before the Oct. 11 rivalry game. ESPN currently gives UW a 34.2% chance of winning.
Wisconsin will be seeking its first win in the Heartland Trophy rivalry since 2021. Iowa’s three consecutive wins against the Badgers marks the Hawkeyes’ longest winning streak against UW since the mid-2000s. Last year's game was an especially lopsided 42-10 Iowa win in Iowa City.
