Will Josh Jacobs play today for Packers in Week 7?

In Week 6, the Green Bay Packers got 150 yards of offense and two touchdowns out of star running back Josh Jacobs, who played through an illness to help the team beat Cincinnati. In Week 7, Green Bay may have to look elsewhere for that production.

Not only does Jacobs remain ill, he's also nursing a calf injury that has him listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, and according to multiple reports, he’ll be a true game-time decision against the Arizona Cardinals. For Jacobs fantasy managers, that means you may have to wait until closer to the team's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff to learn about the running back's availability.

There is some optimism, however. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Jacobs believes he can go.

Should I start Josh Jacobs in fantasy football?

If Jacobs is available, he has a great matchup against the Cardinals and should get the start in fantasy. Arizona's defense has given up touchdowns to running backs in three straight games, including 123 yards and a score to Jonathan Taylor last week.

Who is Josh Jacobs' backup?

Emanuel Wilson has the next-most carries on the Packers with 18 for 84 yards. He'll be the player to add if Jacobs is ruled out.
