Where Georgia football ranks in the US LBM Coaches Poll after sluggish win vs. Austin Peay

The Georgia Bulldogs have remained the No. 3 team in the US LBM Coaches Poll after defeating the Austin Peay Governors 28-6. Georgia is ranked behind No. 2 Penn State and No. 1 Ohio State. The Bulldogs saw their gap over No. 4 LSU diminish after Georgia' disappointing performance against Austin Peay. No. 5 Oregon rounds out the top five.
Week 2 did not feature as much chaos as Week 1, but there were still some major upsets. South Florida ascended into the rankings after defeating the previously No. 15 Florida Gators. The No. 16 SMU Mustangs also lost to Bayloy 48-45 in overtime.
Oklahoma beat Michigan 24-13 and was among the nation's top risers in the poll. Arizona State lost to Mississippi State and dropped all the way from No. 10 to No. 24.
Georgia's next opponent is the Tennessee Volunteers, who are ranked No. 15. Tennessee will be Georgia's first ranked opponent all season and the first SEC game for both teams.
