Studs and duds from New York Giants' Week 6 win over Philadelphia Eagles

The New York Giants entered Thursday night's game against their most-hated rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, given little to no chance of winning by most experts.
But the NFL is funny sometimes. The old "any given Sunday" adage pertains to any day of the week a game is played nowadays, and this was one of those days.
The Giants not only upset the reigning Super Bowl champs on national television, they did so in convincing fashion, 34-17.
Here's a breakdown of the studs, duds, and in-betweens from the Giants' Week 6 upset of Philadelphia.
Stud: QB Jaxson Dart
The rookie was extremely poised again, but this time didn't make fatal mistakes to doom his team. Instead, Jaxson Dart rose above the fray and played a Patrick Mahomes-like game, flummoxing the Eagles' defense and methodically leading Big Blue on five touchdown drives. He completed 17 of 25 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown and rushed 13 times for 58 yards and another score. Dart left the game briefly to be checked for a concussion, but returned as if nothing had happened. It was a star-making performance for the 2025 first-round pick.
Dud: Eagles RB Saquon Barkley
Saquon Barkley's homecoming wasn't very welcoming. On a day in which his documentary outlining his rocky Giants' career debuted on Amazon Prime, the future Hall of Famer laid an egg in front of the MetLife Stadium crowd. Barkley rushed for just 58 yards on 12 attempts and caught two passes for a total of nine yards. In all fairness, he did enter the game with knee soreness, but after a quick start, he slowed down considerably.
Stud: WR Wan'Dale Robinson
With Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton sidelined, Wan'Dale Robinson was the next man up. He caught six of seven targets for 84 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown from Dart.
Dud: Eagles defense
Pro Boel nose tackle Jalen Carter (heel) was out, and it showed. The Giants did a bang-up job running the ball, gaining 172 yards on the ground, and converted on 11-of-16 chances on third down. They were also 3-for-3 in the red zone and 3-for-3 in goal-to-go situations. The Eagles only had three QB hits on Dart on the night.
Stud: LB Brian Burns
Brian Burns continued his All-Pro trajectory with seven total tackles, including two more sacks, giving him seven on the season, tying him with Denver's Nik Bonitto for the NFL lead.
Dud: CB Deonte Banks
Deonte Banks has been in a position battle with Cor'Dale Flott all year, but has been falling behind of late. That was evident in this game as Banks did not play a single snap on defense. Flott made three tackles in the game, one for a loss, and intercepted a Jalen Hurts pass in the red zone, returning it 68 yards.
Studly stud: RB Cam Skattebo
The legend grew exponentially on Thursday night. The rookie shook off the devastating fumble from last week against New Orleans and took it out on the Eagles. Cam Skattebo rushed 19 times for 98 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught two passes for another 12 yards. As a Giants enthusiast for nearly 60 years, I can't think of a player who has captured the fans with his persona like Skattebo has.
