Ravens help unveil a new Boys & Girls Club in West Baltimore

As bad as things have gotten at various points of this season, there's one thing that Baltimore Ravens fans can hang their hats on. This team will rise again! That's a promise!
How can one be so sure, you ask? It's simple. The elite franchises in this game are elite for a reason. This isn't one of the snake-bitten, bottom-feeding NFL organizations that can never get it together. This is the two-time Super Bowl champion Ravens.
Just close your eyes and say the names out loud: Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, Ozzie Newsome, Eric DeCosta, and Steve Bisciotti. From the top of the organization to the guys on the field who have bled and sweated for wins, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better NFL franchise, but that doesn't mean that we won't at times need a pick-me-up.
Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti gives Ravens fans a reason to smile.
They're one of pro football's class organizations, both on the field and off. Recently, the Ravens proved that again. As another week began, owner Steve Bisciotti was present to celebrate the opening of the Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club. This venture was brought to a successful conclusion thanks to a $20 million donation from the Bisciotti family.

No, this won't erase consecutive blowout losses, nor will it wipe away the disappointment of what feels like a lost season. It certainly won't get the injured players back on the field any faster.
Still, we hope this makes you smile. The Ravens continue to be a benefit and blessing to the Baltimore community, and you'd be hard-pressed to find teams that do that job better. Long story short, these stories aren't enunciated enough. Here's a tip of the cap to a team that, for so many reasons, is easy to cheer for.
