It kind of feels like the game the Ohio State football team is involved in this weekend is flying a bit under the radar. The Buckeyes travel to Champaign to take on a ranked Illinois team, and a lot of people have dismissed the Illini because of the bludgeoning they took at the hands of Indiana a few weeks ago.
But OSU head coach Ryan Day cautions everyone to be wary of that because that's not true of what he's seen from Illinois on tape, and calls it an "outlier." He met with the media during his weekly press conference on Tuesday of this week to preview the matchup and had plenty to say.
You can get a feel for how important the opponent is from the Day because rather than reflecting on his own team, there is a bit more focus on the opposition, and that's how the press conference went this week.
