The Steelers’ 2025 NFL Draft class now has official jersey numbers. The team recently revealed on social media which numbers their rookies will wear this season — and here they are:
Derrick Harmon — #99
The Steelers got their big defensive tackle in the draft — and he’ll wear No. 99 this season, made famous by Steelers legend Brett “Fear the Beard” Keisel.
RB Kaleb Johnson — #20
Johnson will wear No. 20 this season — a number last worn by CB Cameron Sutton, who the Steelers failed to re-sign this offseason.
OLB Jack Sawyer — #33
Sawyer, considered one of the biggest steals of the fourth round in the 2025 NFL Draft, will wear No. 33 this season — the same number he wore at Ohio State.
DT Yahya Black — #78
Black will wear No. 78 along the defensive line this season — a number last worn by RG James Daniels, who left the Steel City to sign with the Miami Dolphins this offseason.
QB Will Howard — #18
Howard will join Sawyer in wearing his Ohio State number for the Steelers — donning No. 18 for the 2025 season.
LB Carson Bruener — #44
The son of former Steelers TE Mark Bruener, Carson will wear No. 44 this season — a number last worn by LB Tyler Matakevich, who failed to re-sign with Pittsburgh this offseason.
CB Donte Kent — #34
Kent will wear No. 34 in 2025 — a number previously worn by 2018 first-round pick S Terrell Edmunds.
