Lions vs Bengals: Everything we know about the Lions Week 5

The Detroit Lions captured their fourth victory in a row, beating the Bengals in Cincinnati by a 37-24 margin on Sunday evening. It marked the third straight week the Lions vanquished an AFC North opponent, following wins over the Ravens and Browns.
The Lions surged out to a 28-3 lead and looked to be in firm control when the Bengals, notably QB Jake Browning, started playing better. Detroit struggled through some defensive injuries, lapses, penalties and poor pass protection throughout the second half, making it much closer of a game than it should have been.
It was over when...
It probably should have been over when the Lions took a 28-3 lead in the third quarter on David Montgomery's touchdown run. But the Bengals did not quit and the Lions, well, they didn't exactly go for the jugular thereafter.
Isaac TeSlaa's touchdown reception that put the Lions up 35-17 with just over five minutes to play was the effective end, though again, the Bengals quickly answered.
Derrick Barnes sacking Browning in the end zone for a safety just inside the two-minute warning, and the Bengals drawing an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the free kick, those were some pretty emphatic coffin nails.
