Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, and Saquon Barkley had a long, positive talk on Monday

Anyone who’s watched the Eagles this season can see that something’s off. They can't run the football, star WR A.J. Brown is displeased, and mental mistakes are now costing them games.

Despite their problems, Philadelphia managed to win its first four games. But if you keep playing with fire, you will eventually get burned — and they got burned against Denver.

Three Eagles stars are reportedly attempting to rectify the issue before the team spirals out of control.

Barkley sounded off after the Eagles' fourth-quarter collapse yesterday; it's reasonable to believe he orchestrated this meeting.

"I don't really know what you want. If I touch the ball too much sometimes, we're not throwing enough. If we throw it too much and I only have nine touches — I'm not in the business of, what are we doing enough? I'm in the business of winning football games. We didn't win the football game. With nine touches, we had the opportunity to win the football game still. We weren't detailed enough. Too many mistakes, too many penalties." — Saquon Barkley

Brown made headlines last week after voicing his frustration with the offense. The Eagles made an effort to get their pass-catchers more involved this week, but Barkley only had six carries in the process. There has been no balance on offense, and Philadelphia can no longer close out teams on the ground.

A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith combined for 13 receptions for 157 yards against Denver, so that is something to build on. Perhaps this conversation will ignite another winning streak.
