Ohio State unveils all-white cleats for Texas Game | Buckeyes Wire
One of the fun things about a program like Ohio State is that there are often newfangled things revealed. A program with the kind of money that the one on the banks of the Olentangy has is able to go out and add some pretty cool things to uniforms and other things. It's not to the level of Oregon, but for a program that's embraced tradition almost too much at times, it's nice to see some of these things happening more often.
On that note, Ohio State unveiled all-white Nike cleats on social media that it will apparently be wearing for the game on the road vs. Texas on Saturday. There's a good chance the away uniform could be the all-white sub-zero uniforms, but it could also be the core all-whites with the silver and red sleeves. We'll know for sure when Ohio State presumably announces the uniform combination on Friday.
The cleat, though all-white, does have a simply stated red (er, scarlet) swoosh to add a little pop to what the team will wear when it runs out of the tunnel in Austin. Here's a good look at the all-white cleats, thanks to the Ohio State football X account.
