LeBron James made his Philadelphia 76ers debut on Thursday, marking his first game since signing with the team in July. He has been hyped up as one of the biggest names to move in free agency, especially with how this led to the 76ers having a Big 5 in their starting lineup.

James only played 18 minutes in the 76ers' preseason loss to the Brooklyn Nets. However, James did show what kind of impact he can make with the 76ers, as he had 10 points, four rebounds, and five assists. Those five assists look good for the 76ers, as he will be the primary playmaker.

James has cemented himself as one of the greatest playmakers of all time, and he is bringing that talent to Philly. Of course, people will speak about how he is 41, and that cannot be the best age to compete for a championship, but James has made a career out of proving the doubters wrong.

While it is true that he is older than every other player in the league, he has shown that he can still compete at a high level. Considering that he won't be the number one option, his focus will be on making his teammates play better with his basketball IQ and passing.

Of course, James is still adjusting to his new team, as he is coming off eight years with the Los Angeles Lakers. Now that he is in a new environment again, it seems that James has done well to acclimatize to Philadelphia and Nick Nurse's system.

"Every day is getting better. I'm gonna have some days where days will be better than others. I get to the facility when I'm on these guys; it definitely helps. We got good energy, good spirit; obviously the basketball game, what it brings to all of us is a sense of like togetherness and fun," James said after the first preseason game against the Nets.

Those kinds of comments are promising for the 76ers because they have an abundance of talent around James. Names like Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, V.J. Edgecombe, and Tyrese Maxey are all prepared to make a difference by being the recipients of passes from James.
