Wale drops anthem for 2026 WNBA Finals

The 2026 WNBA Finals are off to an awesome start. The Golden State Valkyries took Game 1 against the Atlanta Dream, winning 68-64.

Gabby Williams dropped 26 points while grabbing four rebounds. Every great championship series or playoffs needs an anthem. The 2022 NBA Playoffs had a remix of ‘Timber,’ and it’s still iconic to this day.

The WNBA Finals is getting that treatment thanks to Wale. It’s a unique series with star talent all over the hardwood, and that’s no different off the court.

It’s never a bad thing to have a theme anthem, and this is what Wale dropped for the WNBA Finals.

“WYFL” stands for ‘Who you feeling like”. Wale shouts out Angel Reese and Gabby Williams, who are the star attractions of this series. You can listen to the whole song on YouTube. A series like this deserves as much attention as possible, and an artist like Wale only amplifies the hype.

It should get everyone excited for Game 2, which goes down tonight! The Chase Center will be rocking, with tip-off set for 8:00 PM ET. You can catch all the action on USA Network or Peacock.

Reese was held scoreless in the second half of Game 1. It will be interesting to see how the Defensive Player of the Year responds. The Dream can’t afford to go down 2-0 to a team that is so good defensively.
