Oklahoma State softball hosting Chinese National Team for joint practice
Oklahoma State softball is hosting the Chinese National Team on Thursday for a joint practice.
The practice begins at 6 p.m. and is open to the public. Admission to Cowgirl Stadium is free, and all seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
China occupies the No. 8 spot in the World Baseball Softball Confederation's international rankings. In August, China placed fifth at the International Cup hosted in Oklahoma City and won games against Australia, Chinese Taipei and American Samoa.
OSU begins its fall schedule Sep. 23 against University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. The Cowgirls went 41-17 last season and fell to Nebraska in an NCAA Super Regional.
