Cam Little delivered a dramatic finish for the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Philadelphia Eagles in London before celebrating his game-winning kick with a gesture familiar to football fans around the world.

The Jaguars kicker drilled a 57-yard field goal as time expired to seal a 19-17 victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. He then took off his helmet and raced towards the end zone with his arms stretched wide.

Little’s celebration immediately drew comparisons to Jude Bellingham’s trademark pose. The Real Madrid and England midfielder has made the open-arms celebration one of the most recognisable in football.

Jacksonville’s victory looked unlikely just seconds earlier. The Eagles had taken a 17-16 lead with eight seconds remaining after Jake Elliott converted a 48-yard field goal.

Ameer Abdullah then produced a 53-yard kickoff return to put the Jaguars in position for one final attempt. With one second left, Little stepped up and delivered from 57 yards.

The kick gave Jacksonville its third consecutive victory and moved the Jaguars to 4-1 on the season. They will now remain in London to face the Houston Texans next week.

Little’s celebration was particularly fitting given his connection with football. He grew up playing soccer and watching Premier League games before making his name in American football.

During the post-match celebrations he was captured saying: “Hey, I know you all saw the Bellingham celebration back there too.”

Bellingham first used his famous celebration during his time at Birmingham City in 2019. He later carried it to Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and England.

The midfielder has explained that the gesture does not have a specific meaning. He simply started doing it at Birmingham and continued using it throughout his career.

Little’s moment came in front of 61,322 spectators at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with plenty of Eagles supporters making themselves heard. Philadelphia had taken a 14-7 lead into half-time before Jacksonville fought back.
